In a world saturated with photographs great new images are more likely to be made somewhere anonymous rather than somewhere famous. In an anonymous place the photographer is more likely to be free of the unwanted connotations that arise from images of iconic locations. This is an image of an anonymous, transient "place". A few degrees warmer, a few minutes later and the magic of golden grasses against blue, sky-lit snow would have ceased to exist.
