Beauty
Along the strand
Esteemed photographer Charlie Waite sometimes refers to images like this, with his tongue firmly in his cheek, as wallpaper. One criticism that could be levelled is that there is no conventional compositional structure. But does this matter? I think that these kind of images are contemplative rather than exclamatory, they allow the viewer to study the beauty in a quiet way.
