David Ward - Landscape Photography - Into The Light

This image was made in an arboretum a couple of miles from my home in Herefordshire, in fact it is probably the closest to home that I've made an image. This might seem perverse given the stunning landscape along the Welsh Borders. The problem is not the external landscape but my mental landscape. I need a day or two to get into the right receptive frame of mind to make images and the motivation to find this time is hard to acquire when I'm immersed in my home life.
