Ebb and Flow
The landscape owes much to water in all of its forms: the mountains and valleys have been shaped by ice and rivers; the seas have revealed the coastline and the rain has given life to the land; let us not forget that clouds are water in a different state, how poor the sky would be without the moods that they engender.
The camera also gives us a unique temporal perspective on the flow of water; sometimes freezing its action, sometimes turning its complex rhythms into nebulous stasis and revealing unexpected perspectives.
