The outline of distant mountains on the window, for me, alludes to the past life of this abandoned house; it evokes images of its nameless inhabitants staring at that familiar yet ever changing view, perhaps reflecting on their own lives. Technical note: I used the graduated filter inverted to correct for light fall off due to the use of extreme front rise.
