This was shot in a junkyard, actually that's probably not the right term as I think that it had long since ceased to be a functioning business. I spent the early eighties working as a photographic assistant and amongst my clients were a number of car photographers. It was there that I learnt about the different qualities of reflected and direct light that I put to use in this image.
