Into the Wild

Stac Pollaidh

This small hill, it doesn't even qualify as a Corbett its summit only reaching around 1800ft above sea level, has the attitude of a mountain. It has long been one of my favourite places in the Highlands of Scotland. Not only for its profile, reminding one of an extinct volcano, but also because the views from its slopes are some of the grandest panoramas in Britain.
